Next up: Lyly’s “Gallathea”

You are all cordially invited to our next event, when we’ll be getting together to read Gallathea, a wonderful transvestite comedy by a Canterbury-born dramatist, John Lyly. There’ll be cross-dressing virgins, enamoured nymphs, sea monsters (well, one sea monster), and much more. The reading will be in the Gulbenkian Cafe from 7pm on Monday 15 September, and all are welcome. Just drop me a line if you’d like to read a part (h.r.newman@kent.ac.uk), noting whether you’d prefer a small, medium or large role. Of course, as always listeners are very welcome too.

Best wishes,
Harry
